We had a wonderful time here at the House during Alberta Culture Days and Doors Open YYC 2014. Our Behind the Scenes tours gave visitors a sneak peak into what goes on in our archives and how the House today has changed over the years. Musical performances by Alex Boiselle, Lisa Anderson and the Calypso Steel Band wowed. We were also lucky enough to host mural making with Dean Stanton, Matt Hiltermann’s Metis sash making workshops, Leah Donald’s needle felting demonstrations and storytelling by Karen Gummo. If you missed this year’s event, take a look at some of the highlights and be sure to join us in 2015!
