Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see one of the most unique and comprehensive private collections of historic clothing in Canada today, modeled in this exclusive show. Renowned Vancouver fashion historian, Ivan Sayers, presents apparel from his rare private collection, including WWI era clothing and the hottest trends from the 1920s. The collection features wedding gowns, catalogue mail order clothes, farm clothing, daytime dresses and elegant evening wear. Ivan will be your host throughout the evening with little known insights about fashion in the 1920s. Borzoi Russian wolf hound show dogs are also featured in the show.
Enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres made from locally sourced ingredients catered by The Restaurant at Lougheed House, and ‘cocktails of the era’. The evening also includes 1920s-style dance demonstrations and live jazz music.
