STEPPING STONES - annual event
Tuesday, May 27 - 11:30 a.m.
Join Hon. Peter Lougheed and Calgary gardening expert Donna Balzer to celebrate adult literacy with the inaugural laying of the Stepping Stone in support of Literacy Alberta. After enjoying a delicious meal from The Restaurant at Lougheed House, you will move to the Victorian gardens where the presentation of a scholarship to an adult literacy learner will be commemorated with a Stepping Stone. Your participation will help to further a fully literate Alberta. For tickets and information, please call 244-6333, ext 101.

Kathleen Parlow Chamber Series at Lougheed House - signature event

Revel in the music of a bygone era, when violinist Kathleen Parlow was the toast of the town. Local historian Don Smith presents the 'Parlow Preview' for these exclusive chamber concerts. Lougheed House is proud to feature the recently donated 1875 Steinway & Sons Grand Piano, and musicians from Calgary's own CPO. In partnership with Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. Alberta Ballet House & Garden Tour - annual event
Weekend, June 21 and 22 - 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
2008 marks the 20th Anniversary of this worthy fundraiser for Alberta Ballet. Lougheed House is honoured to be included in this year's tour, and we join several other distinctive Calgary-area homes and breathtaking gardens that are open for special weekend public viewing. Historic Lougheed House provides a great place to stop in for a refreshment! Relax and stroll through the lovely Beaulieu Gardens, too.

Art Walk Calgary - annual event

ArtWalk is a tremendous opportunity for the general public to visit various art galleries and artist studios! Lougheed House displays artwork by local artists of the Alberta Society of Artists. Free admission to ArtWalk exhibition area. Maps available in September.

A Ride Through Time: Tango in the Garden - signature event

A Calgary favourite! This is our chance to show off Lougheed House and Beaulieu Gardens. This is a fabulous, fun-filled day for the whole family - complete with 1920's and 30's vintage cars and costumes, and old-fashioned games and refreshments. New this year: Tango lessons in the garden! In partnership with Historic Calgary Week and Doors Open Calgary.

Homes for the Holidays 2008 - annual event

A popular annual fundraiser in partnership with Kids Help Phone! Lougheed House is one of several Calgary homes elegantly decorated for special public viewing.
