About Foundation to Future
Foundation to Future is a new core exhibition that explores the fascinating transformations of Lougheed House, the people within its walls, and its place in Alberta’s history. A site of political power, historic innovation, and community service, this house has lived many lives with many stories to tell.
This is the first time that the core exhibition has been completely updated since the museum's opening in 2005. In honour of the 20th anniversary, Lougheed House has entirely redeveloped the exhibit to tell the story of the House, its residents – including a Women’s Army Barracks and the Red Cross, and its place in Alberta’s history. A site of political power, historic innovation, and community service, this house has lived many lives and has many stories to tell. Seasonal exhibitions will continue to activate the spaces while Foundation to Future will be the fundamental storyteller for Lougheed House.
